Almost-forgotten klezmer music in traditional style

Starting with time-worn manuscripts of klezmer music collected more than 100 years ago in Ukraine and Belarus, the klezmer Project presents interpretations that transport the traditional sounds of the early 20th century klezmer into the here and now. The surprising, transcultural spectrum of early 20th century Yiddishland resounds here - from freylekhs and bulgars to waltzes and mazurkas!
